Access to old Midterms

In class and by email I got feedback when students claim that they do not get web-access to some of my older EE175 course. I clicked through several ones and found that I got access to at least 7 previous semesters' courses.
I used the Mozilla browser in my office PC.
The general method is as follows:
  1. Go first to my main ustrasil web: http://www.engr.sjsu.edu/ustrasil/
  2. Click a semester, for example: Fall2005.
  3. Click: EE175 Filter Design or similar.
  4. Click: Web Project Assignment by subject (or chapter).
  5. Then find either Midterm 1 or Midterm 2. Because I normally breakup the midterms, and have students generate a clean problem statements and solutions, MT1 and/or MT2 are normally broken up by Problem 1, Problem 2 etc.

The problem might be that students use other browsers which may be not compatible. In that case you should try different browsers.

The following semesters worked for me: Fall2005, Spring2005, Fall2004, Spring2004, Spring 2003, Fall2002. Further back nothing works, until Spring 2000. Spring 2000 has an interesting way of presenting the information, using a "multimedia lecture format". This is accessible on: http://www.engr.sjsu.edu/filter/

To start the discussion I transferred a couple of email comments to the comment portion. Students are welcomed to add comments, to state what works, what doesn't in order to help eachother.
